What you'll do

  • Play a key role in the global KNAUF IT transformation by actively participating in strategic initiatives and projects that drive progress and innovation across the organization
  • Inspire, guide, and nurture a global IT team, taking full accountability for delivering and operating all IT products within the “Integration” product sub-area, ensuring high performance and alignment with business goals
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the needs of IT and business stakeholders, collaborating closely with diverse departments to validate and fulfill business-driven integration requirements with precision and efficiency
  • Develop, update, and prioritize the vision and roadmap for the product area, managing all involved products to deliver and operate advanced API-driven integration scenarios that meet contemporary standards and future needs
  • Strategically oversee the IT budget, employing a focus on driving cost efficiencies and ensuring optimal resource allocation to support the organization's broader objectives


Who you are

  • Demonstrates extensive experience in leading global IT delivery teams of 20-30 members, providing clear direction and fostering an environment conducive to professional growth and development
  • Thrives on change and transformation, viewing these as key avenues for continuous learning, personal development, and driving organizational progress
  • Possesses strong communication and collaboration skills, adept at navigating complex challenges and resolving conflicts within multicultural environments, effectively bridging gaps between IT teams and business stakeholders
  • Successfully led multiple complex IT projects and programs within multinational organizations, utilizing both classic and agile delivery frameworks, with expertise in cloud-based integration scenarios such as Mulesoft and SAP
  • Fluent in both English and German, holding a Master's Degree in Information Technology or a related field, ensuring a robust understanding of IT concepts and practices
