Position: Manager, Forecasting & Analytics 

Department: Marketing 

Work Location: Morristown, NJ, Hybrid (work 3 days onsite) 

Hybrid Schedule: Helen of Troy associates enjoy the advantages and flexibility of a hybrid working model, allowing for in office 3 days minimum, and remote 2 days. Any changes to this working model would be communicated accordingly.  

What you will be doing: 

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Manager of Forecasting and Analytics to lead data-driven decision-making for our consumer goods and media initiatives. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced forecasting models, analyzing market trends, and providing actionable insights to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical modeling, data analysis, and media performance evaluation. 

  • Develop and maintain predictive models to forecast sales, demand, and market trends in consumer goods and media performance. 

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of media campaigns, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify key insights. 

  • Utilize statistical modeling techniques such as regression analysis, time series forecasting, and machine learning algorithms to enhance decision-making. 

  • Collaborate across our marketing organization to align analytics strategies with business objectives. 

  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, leveraging data visualization and storytelling techniques. 

  • Identify new data sources and improve data collection processes to strengthen analytical capabilities. 

  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact of marketing and media investments. 

  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics and forecasting. 

Skills needed to be successful in this role: 

  • Proficiency in statistical programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SAS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). 

  • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with large datasets. 

  • Expertise in forecasting methodologies, econometrics, and statistical modeling techniques. 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. 

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.  

  • 3+ years of experience in forecasting, data analytics, or a similar role within consumer goods, media, or a related industry. 

  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master’s degree  

  • Experience in media analytics, digital marketing performance measurement, and attribution modeling is a plus.
