About The Opportunity

P2P Marketplace sits within the Core Platform team where we serve as the backbone of OKX Central Exchange. OKX Core Products are dedicated to building systematic capabilities and infrastructures in the key areas including Compliance, Payment, Risk, User Centre, Customer Support, Asset & Financial Product and Data Analytics. By setting the right platform infrastructure, we allow other products such as Trading, Web3 to excel at the forefront, ensuring the best user experience on our platform.

We are seeking an experienced Risk Control Product Manager to design and optimize the risk control architecture and anti-fraud strategies for our C2C business. Experience in risk control for marketplace products is a strong plus.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Risk Control Architecture Design:
• Design the risk control framework for C2C business to ensure secure transactions on the platform.
• Develop and optimize anti-fraud strategies to identify and prevent potential fraudulent activities.
• Monitor the performance of risk control systems and adjust strategies to address emerging risks.
  
  
2. Model Design and Optimization:
• Lead the design and development of user credit scoring models (CCS) and transaction credit scoring models (TCS).
• Continuously refine models based on data analysis to enhance risk control effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists and engineers to ensure model accuracy and implementation.
  
  
3. Marketplace Risk Control Experience:
• Prior experience in risk control for marketplace products is highly preferred.
• Leverage industry best practices to develop tailored risk control strategies for the company’s business.
  
  
4. Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with product, technology, operations, legal, and other teams to ensure effective implementation of risk control strategies.
• Provide training and support to enhance the team’s risk control awareness and capabilities.
  
  
5. Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Conduct regular analysis of risk control data and generate risk reports to support decision-making by senior management.
• Stay updated on industry trends and adjust risk control strategies to address new challenges.

What We Look For In You

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Risk Control Product Manager or in a related field.
• Experience in risk control for C2C or marketplace products is a strong advantage.
• Hands-on experience in designing credit scoring models (e.g., CCS, TCS) is preferred.
• Proficient in designing risk control systems and anti-fraud strategies.
• Strong data analysis and modeling skills, with familiarity in tools and programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Highly sensitive to risks with strong risk identification and mitigation capabilities.

Nice-To-Have

• Background in fintech, payment, or e-commerce industries is a plus.
• Experience in applying big data and machine learning to risk control is a plus.
