  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to maintain the reliability and efficiency of data pipelines.
  • Help optimise data infrastructure costs and performance on Google Cloud (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, etc.).
  • Contribute to data governance, documentation, and best practices to improve data quality and maintainability.
  • Be on top of the latest data technologies, recommend tools and apply best practices.

Who you are

  • 3+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering or a similar role.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with BigQuery or similar data warehouses.
  • Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with ELT workflows, including Airflow and dbt.
  • Experience with Looker, or other similar BI tools.
  • Understanding of data modelling principles and best practices for analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Data, Product, and Engineering teams.
  • You can communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders and non-technical audience and can collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
