As a Data & Analytics BTP Solution Advisor Senior Specialist, you will be the go-to expert for Data & Analytics solutions within our Customer Advisory organization. You will leverage your deep expertise to support the entire sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to post-sale customer support, and assist customers in expanding their SAP footprint. 

This position will have responsibility for defining and positioning implementation services across the entire BTP portfolio for Data Management & Analytics. 

The primary goal of this role is to ensure the customer's vision for deployment is successfully transitioned from pre-sales through implementation and go-live. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide solution-specific expertise to support new sales and adoption for key customers 

• Deliver standard and customized solution demonstrations 

• Support the Account Team in identifying and qualifying new opportunities 

• Evaluate account qualification criteria and fine-tune account strategy 

• Collaborate on creating overall themes and competitive differentiation 

• Conduct dry runs for strategic deals and customer engagements 

• Transition engagements to implementation partners effectively 

• Engage with customers through impactful storytelling 

• Leverage digital assets throughout customer engagements 

• Advise on best practices for data management, governance, and AI implementation 

• Lead the design of scalable data platforms tailored to business needs 

• Analyze industry trends in data science, machine learning, and AI 

• Support feasibility studies on new data technologies 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field 

• 7+ years of experience in data strategy, architecture, or engineering 

• Proven track record in deploying data platforms 

• Strong understanding of database technologies, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and data platforms (SAP Datasphere, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP BW, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.). 

• Expertise in cloud data warehousing, data lakes, and advanced analytics using SAP's cloud solutions 

• Proficiency with AI and machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) is an advantage. 

• Understanding of multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud environments 

• Knowledge of SAAS/PAAS/IAAS models and cloud-based commerce 

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills 

• Ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders 

• Fluency in English and Italian.

The position is available in both our Vimercate and Rome locations.
