This position is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to provide actionable insights that support business goals and improve operational efficiency.

You will...

  • Strong familiarity with data warehousing solutions to support comprehensive analytics.
  • Ensure seamless integration of data from multiple sources.
  • Conduct data profiling to assess data quality, identify anomalies, and ensure data integrity.
  • Develop strategies to cleanse and enrich data for optimal analysis.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and key business insights.
  • Generate ad hoc reports and analyses to support various departments within the organization.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
  • Develop and maintain scripts to automate data processes and enhance data management workflows.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using BI tools, specifically Tableau.
  • Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Establish and manage the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process to ensure data solutions meet business requirements.
  • Oversee comprehensive testing protocols and collaborate with stakeholders to validate system performance and data accuracy.
  • Analyze eligibility and encounter data from a health plan perspective to derive actionable insights.
  • Work closely with healthcare teams to understand and integrate health plan-specific requirements into analytical models.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and tailor analyses accordingly.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with IT, compliance, payers, and state agencies to improve data quality, regulatory compliance, and adherence to HIPAA, CMS, and Medicaid/Medicare guidelines.
  • Analyze EDI healthcare transactions, including 837 encounters, 835 remittances, 270/271 eligibility, and 277CA claim acknowledgments to ensure compliance with health plan and regulatory requirements.

We are excited to speak to someone with the following...

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field required.
  • Five (5) plus years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or a similar role.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Healthcare Experience with Claims Eligibility or Encounters-Preferred

  • Strong familiarity with data warehousing solutions to support comprehensive analytics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large, complex data sets.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, or similar.
  • Demonstrated experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or others.
  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies, including regression analysis, clustering, and time-series analysis.
  • Exceptional communications and presentation skills to convey technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle conflicting priorities and demands.

Salary: $81,000 - $120,000
