We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join our team and make a significant impact on the core applications at Coinmerce. As a Data Engineer, you’ll collaborate with various teams, including Trading Technology and Development, to design and develop advanced data solutions, optimize data pipelines, and build analytical dashboards.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop data engineering solutions for Trading, Brokerage, Treasury, Finance, and Marketing projects.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise.
Maintain and optimize data pipelines from trading/brokerage platforms to our data warehouse in Google BigQuery.
Develop infrastructure for ETL processes from diverse data sources using SQL and big data technologies.
Build analytical reporting dashboards using Google Looker and BigQuery.
Participate in design sessions and collaborate on other Technology team activities.
What you bring:
5+ years of experience in a data engineering or data-centered development role.
Experience building and/or maintaining a data warehouse based on BigQuery
Strong programming skills in Python (experience with Go or Rust is also considered).
Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and data analysis.
Experience in generating data reports and visualizations using tools like Google Looker or Grafana.
Knowledge of NoSQL, time-series databases, and data analysis techniques.
Clear and concise communication skills to efficiently analyze and solve technical problems.
