The role
In this role, you'll lead the finance data governance program, ensuring our financial reporting is accurate, efficient, and reliable. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining a robust governance framework, managing data review processes, and driving finance transformation through process optimization and the adoption of new technologies.
You'll face the challenge of managing financial information systems and business process projects with minimal disruption. Your responsibilities will include providing strategic advice on project management within finance systems, ensuring our systems and processes meet both internal and external audit requirements, and continuously improving our financial management practices.

What you will bring to the role
- Expertise in Financial Data Governance: You will develop and maintain a robust finance data governance framework, ensuring the accuracy, accessibility, and quality of information within our finance systems.
- Leadership in Finance Transformation: You will lead finance transformation initiatives, optimising processes and leveraging emerging technologies to support best practices in financial management.
- Strategic Advisory Skills: You will provide strategic advice on project management within finance systems, ensuring our systems and processes meet both internal and external audit requirements.
What is an essential requirement:
- Qualifications in a financial, accounting, or technology discipline or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and contemporary financial management and audit practices.
