As a Senior Reporting Analyst within the Chief Data & Analytics Office, you will play a crucial role in driving data insights, reporting automation, and business intelligence solutions for key stakeholders across the organization. You will work closely with business leaders in sales, finance, operations, marketing, and other teams to produce actionable reports, dashboards, and analytical insights that inform data-based decisioning.

Be successful in this role

Someone in this role will:

  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Power Bi, Tableau, Qlikview).
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating large data sets.
  • Familiarity with Databricks platform to process large-scale datasets, perform data transformation using Python or R, and prepare data for reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to conduct detailed data analysis, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and understandable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in the Life, Annuity of Health insurance industry is required

Key Responsibilities

  • Report Development & Insight Generation: Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive business intelligence reports and dashboards for several business areas across the organization. Provide data-based insights to support strategic decision-making, risk management planning and day-to-day management of business operations.
  • Data Integration & Validation: Ensure data integrity by integrating multiple data sources, validating accuracy, and ensuring consistency across reporting command center.
  • Advanced Analytics: Conduct trend analysis, predictive analytics, and forecasting to identify business opportunities, emerging risks, and operational inefficiencies.
  • Automation of Reporting Processes: Implement automated reporting solutions to streamline manual processes and improve reporting efficiency across teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data reporting and analysis, preferably in the insurance industry.
