The Sales Data Analyst is responsible for supporting the Moultrie Business Analytics and Sales teams in data compilation, report building and maintenance, and formulating insights/recommendations through analysis in order to generate growth and optimize sales performance. This position will interact cross functionally with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Leadership Teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage point-of-sale data platforms and reporting.
- Develop and manage efficient processes for analyzing and reporting customer store level performance that will navigate order conversations and generate additional growth opportunities.
- Track, assess, and report promotion effectiveness and its financial impacts.
- Work closely with the Sales Team to provide necessary reporting, analysis, and support for customer meetings.
- Work closely with key customers on providing reporting and gathering analytics/research requests.
- Collaborate with Analytics Managers and Operations in forecast updates based on point-of-sale performance and uploading forecasts into Moultrie’s ERP system.
- Collaborate with Analytics Managers to effectively communicate and translate results to Customers, Sales Team, and Moultrie Leadership Team.
- Enable Moultrie teams to make informed, data-based decisions by providing the appropriate tools that build a persuasive narrative around data.
- Maintain point-of-sales visual analytics in Tableau to drive awareness of our monthly goals and performance.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Finance/Economics, Retail Management preferred
- 1-3 years of professional experience
- Proficient in excel
- Experience in the retail industry a plus
