Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Team Overview

Emerging Tech Proof of Concept Team within Data and Analytics operations function of the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), delivers and supports several Data Science capabilities.

The team works in an agile manner to prioritise and deliver value at pace whilst maintaining focus on longer term initiatives and technical capabilities to enable continuous improvement of our service offering. Team will work closely with Technology to influence the D&A Operations technology roadmap and will partner with D&A Ops leaders to build new ways of working that nurtures innovation, speed and quality.  

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of solutions, capabilities powered by AI/ML models.
• Work with multi-functional teams to understand and scope requirements and implement innovative solutions.
• Own the development of Proof of Concepts, MVP to test the validity of approaches for various use cases.
• Work closely with the team to setup and supervise the evaluation criteria of PoCs, MVP.
• Integrate developed solutions with platforms.
• Setup data pipelines, Inference pipelines, other automations.
• Interested to learn/quickly upskill in relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with Operations, Technology teams.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience as an AI/ML professional
• Good understanding of Python programming concepts and leading practices and proven SQL skills
• Familiar with Refinitiv or LSEG processes and products
• Good knowledge of various MLOps approaches
• Ability to learn new upcoming and emerging technologies in AI/MLspace
• Extensive experience in any Cloud computing environment
• Strong business sense and analytical skills

• Good communication and presentation skills
