Job responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API testing.
  2. Implement and execute end-to-end, regression, and functional tests for web applications.
  3. Work closely with Product Manager to ensure test coverage for business-critical features.
  4. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance.
  5. Analyze test results, debug failures, and provide insights for product improvements.
  6. Ensure best practices in test strategy, test case design, and defect management.
  7. Contribute to performance and load testing for scalable applications.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
  2. 3+ years of experience in QA Automation for web and API testing.
  3. Proficiency in Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Puppeteer.
  4. Strong knowledge of API testing tools, e.g. Postman, Newman, RestAssured
  5. Experience with CI/CD testing integration, e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD
  6. Understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Shift-Left Testing methodologies.
  7. Experience in scripting languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python

Good to have

  1. Familiarity with Test-Driven Development and Behavior-Driven Development
  2. Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms, e.g. Sauce Labs, BrowserStack
