Job Summary

Responsible for working cross-functionally to collect data and develop models to determine trends utilizing a variety of data sources. Retrieves, analyzes and summarizes business, operations, employee, customer and/or economic data in order to develop business intelligence, optimize effectiveness, predict business outcomes and decision-making purposes. Involved with numerous key business decisions by conducting the analyses that inform our business strategy. This may include: impact measurement of new products or features via normalization techniques, optimization of business processes through robust A/B testing, clustering or segmentation of customers to identify opportunities of differentiated treatment, deep dive analyses to understand drivers of key business trends, identification of customer sentiment drivers through natural language processing (NLP) of verbatim responses to Net Promotor System (NPS) surveys and development of frameworks to drive upsell strategy for existing customers by balancing business priorities with customer activity. Acts as a technical expert in own area within the organization. May work independently or as part of a team on more complex projects. Provides mentoring and guidance to more junior team members. May be responsible for leading a team, but does not directly manage people.

Core Responsibilities

  • Must have 7-8 years of experience in in a data analyst role and must have experience having deployed analytics, automation solutions.
  • Leads discussions with business leaders and stakeholders to understand data and analysis needs and develop technical requirements.
  • Work closely with the teams handling network data and identify network trends and drive results from them.
  • Create interactive, meaningful and insightful visualizations, to communicate findings and insights effectively to internal teams and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and deploy predictive models, recommendation models, time series etc., to provide future predictions. Must have experience with large datasets.
  • Continue to refining work on data models using tools like Pandas and SQL. Queries disparate big data platforms such as Teradata, SQL Server, Hadoop, and AWS, GCP
  • Apply the knowledge in statistics, AI/ML coding and development, cloud-based analytics platform to create an integrated data analytics platform for complex communications system.
  • Identify areas of automation and work closely with the Automation business operations teams to optimize processes. Deep experience of python and automation tools an advantage.
  • Combines data as needed from disparate data sources to complete analysis.
  • Identifies key business drivers and insights by conducting exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing.
  • Oversees development of forecasting models to predict sales, demand and other key business metrics.
  • Reviews analyses of the results of campaigns, offers or initiatives to measure their effectiveness and identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Communicates findings clearly and concisely through narrative-driven presentations and effective data visualizations to Company executives and decisionmakers.
  • Promotes and evangelizes a culture of excellence, data driven discussions, healthy skepticism, intellectual curiosity, knowledge sharing, and teamwork.
  • Stays current with emerging trends in analytics, statistics, and machine learning and applies them to business challenges.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Compensation

This job can be performed in Colorado, and Illinois with a Pay Range of $105,549.69 - $174,156.99

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
