We’re looking for an experienced data architect like you to deliver leading-edge solutions in Business Process Reengineering in support of the Department of the Navy’s MyNavyHR organization.
As a Data Architect on our MyNavyHR BPR team, you’ll resolve routine data architecture related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by providing advice on data warehousing methods and approaches, analyzing data architecture-related business needs, and working with project staff to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture developments.
In this role, you’ll grow your technical expertise, apply best practices, and use tools like NSIPS, FLTMPS, Authoritative Data Environments, SQL, SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), and OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) to design database, data models, ETL processes, data warehouse applications, and business intelligence reports. You’ll guide your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components, and you’ll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure requirements are met, and solutions are delivered.

You Have:
10+ years of experience in software, systems or network architecture, project management, or cloud infrastructure
Knowledge of resolving routine DA issues with business analysts and technology teams by providing advice on data warehousing methods and approaches
Knowledge of analyzing DA business needs and working with staff to make decisions and recommendations on future DA development
Ability to deliver high-quality outcomes and data system enhancements in accordance with existing guidelines and standards
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Engineering, or Physical Science
Nice If You Have:
Experience utilizing Navy and Department of Defense Pay and Personnel systems such as NSIPS, FLTMPS, ADE, NES, or PRIDE
Knowledge of military culture and United States Navy culture and structure
Knowledge of MyNavyHR business processes and current transformation efforts
Ability to work on a dynamic team responsible for multiple concurrent deliverables
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
