Job Duties: Understand private market investment objectives and deliver private market technology solutions. Analyze core business processes and interactions to improve efficiency through a deep understanding of investment team and other front office personnel, leveraging technical expertise in Aladdin, eFront, and other software programming. Lead and document investment and operational workflow design sessions for private market investment teams across all strategies including Private Equity, Private Credit, Infrastructure, Real Estate and Multi-Alternative Solutions teams. Implement investment technology to automate core business processes and design desktop technologies for critical investment processes. Develop and maintain a single source of truth by establishing an enterprise data platform and build data-centric self-service environments. Partner with the Aladdin Product Management, Aladdin Engineering, BlackRock Tech & Operations and other partner teams in the One BlackRock community to evolve BlackRock's platform for private markets. Develop and deliver high¬ quality products by engaging with the team and tech subject matter experts across the firm.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Quantitative Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Engineering, or a related field; and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation in financial services. Requires 2 years of experience involving each of the following:

1. Working in Financial services industry: specifically in technology, analytics, operations, audit, risk management, or data management. 
2. Software development, data science & engineering, portfolio analytics, or business process reengineering; 
3. Working with private markets technology products. 
4. Using SQL, Python, and BI Tools (Power BI, Tableau) to work with large data sets at scale in order to perform investment analytics, reporting or other visualizations off the private markets data model deployed for various investment strategies. 
5. Debugging using UNIX and SQL. 
6. Writing queries to mine data from large, financial databases like Aladdin or Bloomberg API.
