We are seeking a Lead Data Analyst with strong behavioural and streaming analytics skills to build, own and shape analytics across our global Kick platform, which has over 50 million users worldwide.
This is a newly created role that will be part of our Business Intelligence Team, but will work closely with our Kick and Engineering Teams to help shape the future of live streaming by delivering actionable insights.
Your role with us:
You will leverage previous streaming, real-time and behavioural analytics experience to build Kick’s Analytics capability from scratch. You will collaborate with the Business Intelligence, Data Science and Data Engineering teams to provide game-changing insights and analytics projects for the Kick Team.
You will get the opportunity to hire, grow and lead the Team as the Kick platform and its analytics capability grows.

What you will do:
- Build & Own Kick’s Data Analytics Function:
- Define and track the metrics that matter, including: viewership, engagement, retention and monetization.
- Establish key reports to provide instant visibility on product performance
- Manage end-to-end analytics projects, from problem definition to delivering actionable solutions.
- Establish best practices for data integrity, governance, and security.
- Build and optimize A/B testing frameworks to drive product decisions.
- Present findings in clear, compelling ways that make an impact.
- Collaborate:
- Transform business objectives into data projects/strategies by collaborating with all the different functions within Kick.
- Work with Data Engineering to design data pipelines, data models, warehouses, and tracking systems.
- Partner with Data Scientists to scope out and deliver AI/ML projects for Kick.
- Lead:
- Hire & scale the Kick analytics function as the company grows.
- Mentor analysts and elevate data literacy across teams.
- Work closely with leadership to turn insights into bold, strategic decisions.
What you will bring:
- 7+ years’ of data analytics experience including leadership/senior level roles, preferably in live streaming, gaming, and/or digital media.
- Advanced Python and SQL skills.
- Visualisation skills with Tableau (or similar tools such as PowerBI, Looker etc.)
- Proficiency in behavioral analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap etc.).
- Deep knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline tools (dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Stitch).
- AWS Cloud experience (Azure or GCP also accepted).
- Ability to work closely with engineering teams to define data collection strategies.
- Understanding of data governance, privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA), and security best practices.
- Experience with API integrations & data automation.
- History of delivering data projects end-to-end
- Stakeholder and Project management skills
Bonus points if you also have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience working for an online product/website, streaming services
- Experience with event-driven analytics & real-time data processing.
