WHAT IS THE POSITION
As a Business Intelligence Intern, you will support the Customer Success, Customer Support, and Instructional Services teams in gathering, analyzing, and visualizing data to help improve business decisions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to BI tools, enhance analytical skills, and make meaningful contributions to key business initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
•    Data Collection & Analysis: Assist in the gathering, cleaning, and transforming large datasets from various sources (internal systems, third-party tools, etc.).
•    Report Development: Help develop and update interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel
•    Data Visualization: Create compelling data visualizations to support data-driven decisions across different departments.
•    Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Data Science, Revenue Operations, Finance, etc.) to understand and align the delivery of actionable insights.
•    Ad-hoc Analysis: Provide support for special projects and perform ad-hoc analysis to address business challenges and opportunities.
•    Documentation & Reporting: Document BI processes, tools, and reports, ensuring that best practices are followed.

WHAT EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
•    Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
•    Technical Skills: Basic understanding of data analysis, SQL, and familiarity with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel. 
•    Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
•    Problem Solving: Ability to break down complex problems and offer data-driven solutions.
•    Attention to Detail: Highly meticulous and able to work with precision.
•    Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present findings clearly to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Experience with scripting languages such as Python or R.
•    Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Databricks).
•    Previous experience with BI reporting or data analysis, either through coursework, personal projects, or internships.

Pay range for this role: $20—$20 USD

At Edmentum, we are committed to pay transparency. The salary range provided reflects market research, the responsibilities of the role, and alignment with our compensation principles. Actual compensation will be determined based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill sets. All compensation decisions are individualized and based on the specific circumstances of each candidate.
