Software Quality Assurance Engineer

What you will do 

You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our software is released rapidly yet confidently. You will work closely with our development teams to meet release goals and ensure that our software is of the highest quality for our users. 

As the sole QA resource in the team, you will have the autonomy to take ownership of the testing process, using your detective spirit to troubleshoot, perfect, and continuously improve our product. You will be directly involved in the verification of the Neural Concept Platform, making sure that each version we release maintains the integrity and quality of our software.

While working towards this goal: 

• You will work closely with development teams to achieve release goals and ensure seamless integration of new features. 

• You will implement and maintain end-to-end workflows reflecting our users’ journey  

• You will provide continuous feedback about the quality of the new features and interfaces. 

• You will meticulously document test cases, test results, and any issues identified during testing to ensure thorough coverage and clear communication with the team. 

• You will use version control systems (Git) and automation frameworks to automate and extend the testing further as part of CI/CD pipelines.

Who you are 

• You have 2-5 years of work experience in Quality Assurance in the field of CAE/CAD/PLM (mandatory requirement)

• You have a Master’s or Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, Computer Science or other relevant field. 

• You have knowledge of industry standards and best practices in software testing and quality assurance, with experience in test planning, test design, and test execution 

• You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes to the codebase and capable of managing your time efficiently. 

• You are persistent, able to work independently and with determination until issues are resolved. 

• You have strong programming skills with Python, Javascript, Git, CI/CD

• You have excellent technical communication skills, in particular, written bug reports 

• You are motivated, detail-oriented, enjoy solving difficult problems and are willing to engage in unknown territory.
