The Role

We are hiring our first Senior AI Engineer to integrate cutting-edge Large Language Models (LLMs) into our platform and drive AI innovation in climate solutions. In this role, you’ll help shape SINAI’s AI strategy, working closely with engineering and product teams to build intelligent, high-impact AI-powered features.

• Develop AI-Powered Features: Design, build, and integrate LLM-driven functionalities to enhance our platform.
• Model Evaluation & Optimization: Assess different AI models to determine the best fit for various use cases.
• Deploy & Scale AI Systems: Ensure AI/ML features are robust, scalable, and production-ready.
• Enhance User Experience: Use AI to improve user workflows, automate processes, and provide intelligent insights.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with software engineers, product managers, and data scientists to drive AI initiatives.
• Stay on the Cutting Edge: Research and experiment with new AI technologies to continuously improve our product.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, preferably leveraging data or machine learning to enhance applications.
• 2+ years of experience integrating LLMs into production applications.
• Deep knowledge of OpenAI, Meta, Anthropic and other AI models (GPT-4, Claude, Llama, Mistral, etc).
• Strong coding skills in Python or TypeScript/JavaScript, with experience in AI/ML libraries (e.g., LangChain, Hugging Face, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience deploying AI/ML solutions in production on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with AWS Machine Learning services (SageMaker, Bedrock, etc.).
• Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS) and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques.
• Integrated OpenAI’s API in a production application
• Experience applying ML solutions to improve user experience and automate workflows.
• Prior experience working in startups or high-growth tech environments.

Salary $80,000 - $100,000 USD

The offered salary or salary range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.
