The Role:Legend is hiring a Data Analyst, reporting directly to our Analytics Manager.
Step into a pivotal role within our Data and Analytics function, where you'll collaborate with a team of expert data analysts, platform engineers, and data scientists. Your focus? Driving insights and innovation for our SEO business. You'll work closely with our SEO Leadership and Central SEO Team, tackling projects that range from crafting intuitive dashboards to developing advanced analytical solutions—leveraging tools like Python to solve complex challenges.

Your Impact:

• Reimagine Reporting: Optimise and streamline existing dashboard reporting to deliver sharper, more actionable insights.
• Turn Data into Strategy: Harness your statistical and programming skills to aggregate and analyse data from multiple sources—providing strategic recommendations that shape key business decisions.
• Spot Opportunities: Dive into diverse datasets to uncover trends in our products and the wider market, helping to prioritise initiatives with the greatest potential for growth.
• Redefine Success Metrics: Challenge and refine our current SEO KPI framework to ensure it aligns with broader business objectives and drives meaningful results.
• Fuel SEO Growth: Identify new growth opportunities within SEO—whether it's refining keyword strategies, tracking algorithm changes, benchmarking against competitors, or enhancing on-page performance.
• Shape the Future of Analytics: Influence the evolution of SEO analytics by leveraging your expertise and staying on top of the latest trends and advancements.

What You'll Bring:

• Data Mastery: Strong expertise in SQL, statistics, and advanced data analytics methodologies, with a passion for uncovering insights that drive impact.
• Insight-Driven Decision Maker: Skilled at using data to shape business strategies—backing decisions with solid analysis, from A/B testing and benchmarking to pre- and post-campaign evaluations.
• Analytics Tools: Proficient in SQL, Python and experienced with leading BI tools like PowerBI or Tableau, turning complex data sets into intuitive, actionable reports.
• Skilled Communicator: Able to translate intricate analytical findings into clear, compelling recommendations that resonate with non-technical stakeholders.
• SEO Savvy: A solid understanding of core SEO concepts, helping you connect data insights with SEO strategies to drive growth.

It would also be great, but not essential, if you had:

• SEO Tools Know-How: Familiarity with key SEO metrics and tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and MajesticSEO to deepen insights and analysis.
• SEO Analytics Experience: Previous experience in SEO analytics is a plus, giving you an edge in understanding the nuances of search performance.
• Marketing Collaboration: Experience working closely with marketing teams, understanding their goals, and aligning data insights to support their strategies.

The Interview Process:

• 1st: Initial Chat with Talent Partner (30mins via Zoom)
• 2nd: Interview with our Hiring Manager (45min - 1hour video via Zoom)
• 3rd: Take home test - you will be given 3 days to complete the test before sending it back to us to review
• 4th: Interview with our Hiring Manager (1hour video via Zoom)
• 5th: Take home task and presentation - you will be given 3 days to complete the task before presenting back to our Head of Analytics & BI and Global SEO Expert (1hour video via Zoom)
