Data Architect Business Analyst - Avendra International

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Data Architect who specializes in delivering data solutions to the business, with a strong focus on the reporting layer and preparing data for the semantic layer of reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data architectures that ensures seamless data delivery, accessibility, and reporting for the data intelligence team, using Snowflake as the primary platform. The ability to work independently is critical to the success of this position.
 

Job Responsibilities

Previous experience developing reports in Power BI.
•    Design and develop data architectures that support business needs and objectives.
•    Ensure efficient data delivery, accessibility, and reporting for the data intelligence team.
•    Collaborate with business stakeholders, business users, and BI teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
•    Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
•    Implement data integration and ETL processes to consolidate data from various sources.
•    Design and maintain the reporting layer to enable effective data analysis and visualization.
•    Prepare data for the semantic layer to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
•    Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms.
•    Collaborates with data engineers and analysts.
•    Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data architecture, data delivery, and reporting.
•    Ability to work independently is critical to the success of the position.
 

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•    5-7 years of experience or an equivalent degree in database administration, design/ development.
•    Proven experience in data delivery, data integration, reporting, and semantic modeling.
•    Expertise in SQL, data modeling tools, and data presentation tools
•    Experience with Snowflake, Oracle, and SQL Server
•    Experience with data warehousing and BI tools such as Power BI and Cognos Analytics
•    Strong understanding of dimensional modeling.
•    Comfort with Data Vault methodology 
•    Knowledge of financial reporting and audit requirements.
•    Understanding GSC and GPO customer billing, reporting, and other various data needs 
•    Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies.
•    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•    Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially with business users and BI teams.
•    Understanding of the data development lifecycle
•    Experience in QA and User testing; focusing on delivering data quality
•    Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance standards.

COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000.  If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer.  This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.​
