We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship in Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) research, where you will work with our team on harnessing Generative AI to create multimedia immersive storytelling experiences in vehicles.The focus will be on developing interactive narratives that captivate users by incorporating various sensory elements, thereby transforming stories into engaging experiences.

What awaits you?

• Developing interactive narratives that engage users through various sensory elements, creating immersive storytelling experiences in vehicles.
• Leverage Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) for multimedia components that dynamically respond to storytelling scenarios.
• Utilizing advanced AI techniques to create dynamic content that adapts to user preferences and enhances engagement.
• Gaining hands-on experience in a cutting-edge research environment, contributing to the future of in-car entertainment and user interaction.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve the LLM-based in-car assistant platform and frameworks, while implementing robust CI/CD practices.

What should you bring along?

• Enrollment in a Master's program in Computer Science, Multimedia Design, Human Computer Interaction or a related field.
• Practical knowledge of interactive storytelling techniques (e.g: branching narratives, character development, emotional engagement, etc.) and multimedia processing.
• Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in developing applications that utilize generative AI.
• Understanding of user experience design principles to create engaging environments.
• Experience of using different GenAI tools (e.g, chatGPT, Stable Diffusion, Flux, Sora, Suno, Midjourney, etc.)
• A creative mind.
• Strong English skills for effective teamwork and documentation; German is a plus.
