Data Governance Platform Manager - Informatica

Overview

The Data Governance Manager is responsible for working with PepsiCo sectors and functions to implement, enhance, maintain, and support a global data governance platform across the PepsiCo enterprise. This role requires deep knowledge of data governance tools for operationalization of an Informatica Data Governance platform, specifically focused on the modernized cloud platform of Informatica Cloud Data Governance Catalog and Cloud Data Market place . This role will be deployed to work with the Global Platform lead to support various programs, projects, and sectors within PepsiCo to ensure data related requirements are in adherence to the global data governance policies set forth by the Global Data Governance team. This role will support the global data governance team to operationalize and provide solutions for deployment of a global technology platform to manage and govern PepsiCo's core data as per established global standards.

Responsibilities

The Manager will work closely with Global Data Platform Lead to ensure technical solution related to Data Governance platforms is provided to large programs with focus on data are being rolled out and tracked as per the program charter established along with meeting core business objectives.

• Work on technical rollouts on the Informatica's Cloud Data Governance Catalog (CDGC) Platform to support user functionalities
• Manage technical integration and configuration efforts related to expansion of Data Governance Platform.
• Conduct informational training sessions to walkthrough core use cases covered by the applications.
• Enable use cases on the platform, such as Metadata classification, PII tagging, scan technical lineage from Unity Catalog, Data bricks , Azure data lake , relational DBs, BI reporting layer etc.
• Design and build dashboards in partnership with BI team
• Work on APIs from CDGC and expose metadata for reporting
• Configure CDGC scanners of Technical metadata , custom attributes and associate Business Metadata.
• Configure multi step workflows in CDGC for glossary, dataset management
• Configure the Data Market place (i.e., Informatica Cloud Data Market Place- CDMP)
• Run demo and training on the CDGC capabilities built to Stewards and business stakeholders
• Create / Update Business Glossary and other business facets in Informatica Cloud Data Governance
• Catalog and ensure alignment with Data Policies/Standards/Procedures based inputs from Data Stewards
• Work in collaboration with IT and Security teams' standards & capabilities
• Collaborate with business, security, technical and quality teams to deliver the data governance capabilities for global and sector programs
• Communicate regularly with program teams and stewards to make necessary design reviews on the platform as needed.

Compensation and Benefits:

• The expected compensation range for this position is between $106,400 - $178,100.
• Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
• Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience working with Data Governance tools (Informatica on-prem experience is a must have and cloud experience is preferred )
• Understanding of Informatica Platform for Data governance, including Metadata Command Center (MCC), Configuration of scanners in Informatica EDC and CDGC, Knowledge of facets in Axon, business metadata management in CDGC, workflows is a must have
• Has been part of full cycle data governance related implementation projects using Informatica Stack
• Has hands on technical experience with integrations, APIs (REST), data discovery, workflow creation, custom lineage creation
• Experience leading project implementation efforts with internal/external as well as onshore/offshore resources
• Strong techno- functional background who understands data lifecycle management, governance and how to use technology to automate governance tasks
• Knowledge of Data Governance platforms as it applies to the enterprise data architecture (Informatica)
• Ability to partner with a multi-tiered and matrixed organization model to support complex data programs.
• Proven skills to catalog business metadata in Axon through a structured process
