We’re looking for a Data Engineer / ETL Engineer to join our Data Capabilities team and help build scalable data pipelines that not only handle massive data volumes but also ensure that data is easy to access and actionable by all teams across the organization. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving complex data challenges, and is passionate about empowering others to use data without always needing to go through a specialist.   Key Skills:

• Solid Experience with designing and implementing ETL flows and real-time data pipelines.
• Programming Skills with a strong understanding of data architectures, and the ability to implement data contracts between services.
• Experience in data modeling based on business needs and translating them into technical solutions.
• Strong expertise in SQL for data pipeline testing and querying.
• Familiarity with cloud-based databases like Snowflake.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience working with Airflow for orchestrating ETL pipelines.
• Experience with data tools like Redis for service data contracts.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Data Democratization: Work on enabling data access across teams by creating systems that allow teams to get answers from data without relying on analysts or engineers.
• Collaboration & Empowerment: Partner with data analysts, product owners, and engineers to understand customer challenges and design data solutions that solve real business problems.
• Data Quality & Governance: Define rules and implement controls for maintaining data quality, ensuring that the data you work with is clean, reliable, and consistent.
• Platform Innovation: Develop new tools and services that empower business teams to leverage data, and iterate on ML models to help predict customer behavior (e.g., when customers might churn).
• Cross-Functional Work: Collaborate closely with data scientists, backend engineers, and front-end teams to ensure that data flows seamlessly between services and is made actionable across the company.
• Technical Leadership: Drive technical initiatives around data architecture, new technology adoption, and best practices for ETL processes. Be a voice for continuous improvement in data management.
