Objective of the Role 

As the Tech & Data Ops Enablement Lead, you will be responsible for leading workforce planning, onboarding, learning, communications, and training initiatives exclusively for technology and data teams. This role requires a deep understanding of technologies, tech stacks, and tech culture, and the ability to work effectively with engineering, infrastructure, and data teams to foster a continuous learning environment. 

Main Responsibilities 

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive workforce planning strategy to ensure the technology and data teams have the right skills and resources to meet current and future needs. 
  2. Manage workforce planning and staffing tools and platforms to provide tech talent supply insights and analytics to predict both talent and skills future needs. 
  3. Keep our tech workforce management base updated to understand in real time the talent and skills we currently have across the organization. 
  4. Lead the onboarding process for new hires in technology and data teams, ensuring smooth and effective integration into the organization, accelerate new hires adoption and enable new hires to succeed in the shortest time possible. 
  5. Design and deliver learning and development programs tailored to the specific needs of technology and data professionals, including technical training, Tech skills bootcamps, tech labs, hackathons, lead CoPs, and all technical operational frameworks like agile and lean are properly trained and enable our Tech and data teams. 
  6. Act as Technical Training SME; provide advisory to tech and data managers and directors on actions to up-skill and prepare tech and data teams for upcoming challenges, working in partnership with Tech & Data HRBP Team.  
  7. Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and data teams to identify skill gaps and create targeted training programs to address these gaps, to build with HRBP and People teams the most effective learning strategies. 
  8. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the technology and data teams. 
  9. Develop and manage internal communications strategies to keep technology and data teams informed and engaged, aligned with Spin People & Culture and communication strategy and frameworks. 
  10. Measure the effectiveness of training programs and make data-driven decisions to improve learning outcomes. 
  11. Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in technology, data, and learning and development frameworks. 
  12. Build and maintain relationships with external training providers and industry experts to bring the best learning opportunities to the organization, in synchronicity with Femsa standards and P&C partners for these topics. 
  13. Promote an autonomous work culture by encouraging self-management, accountability, and proactive problem-solving among team members. 
  14. Serve as a Spin Culture Ambassador to foster and maintain a positive, inclusive, and dynamic work environment that aligns with the company's values and culture. 
  15. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong negotiation abilities, the ability to manage priorities, and a talent for fostering collaborative environments. The role requires the ability to navigate complex situations, balancing competing demands while ensuring that team objectives are met efficiently. Strong organizational skills and the capacity to maintain clear and consistent expectations within the team are essential for success in this position.

Required Knowledge and Experience 

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline. 
  2. 6+ years of experience in learning and development, talent management, or a related field, with a focus on technology and data teams. 
  3. Strong understanding of technology stacks, software development, data management, and tech culture. 
  4. Proven experience in workforce planning, onboarding, and training program development. 
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  6. Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. 
  7. Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other training tools and technologies. 
  8. Ability to analyze data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of training programs and make informed decisions. 
  9. Leadership experience with a track record of mentoring and developing team members. 
  10. Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. 
  11. Flexibility in adapting to organizational and process changes. 
  12. Advanced English skills
