In a typical day at OLX, in the role of Principal FP&A, you will:

• Lead advanced financial analysis, integrating business intelligence and predictive modeling. Establish reporting best practices, translating complex data into actionable insights for executives.
• Produce executive-grade reporting for board members, external investors, and senior leadership, with a focus on communication to translate complex financial data into clear, compelling narratives for stakeholders.
• Drive initiatives that optimize profitability, efficiency, and investments. Lead efforts to implement automation, AI analytics, and process improvements.
• Provide insights into industry trends and economic factors, linking financial strategy with operations. Advise executives on priorities, risk management, and growth opportunities.
• Develop long-term financial strategies, integrating data-driven insights into decision-making. Challenge traditional approaches, fostering innovation in financial execution.
• Champion the use of advanced analytics and ML & AI for financial modeling and decision-making. Lead digital transformation to improve efficiency, scalability, and insight generation.
• Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite, providing data-driven recommendations based on financial insights.
• Build and maintain relationships across the organization to ensure alignment on financial strategies.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

• 10 to 15 years of analytical experience in financial management, consulting, or investment banking, with proven experience in FP&A, having managed regular reporting to C-Level and shareholders/investors.
• Deep understanding of financial reporting and planning, accounting principles, and sophisticated valuation methodologies.
• A forward-looking, data-driven approach with a commitment to innovation and excellence in financial practice.
• Visionary leadership ability to challenge conventional thinking and drive transformative financial strategies.
• An agile and proactive mindset, with the ability to work independently, adapt to change, and drive initiatives forward.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster trust and build relationships and influence in a virtual, multicultural, and matrixed environment.
• Experience with OneSteam, Anaplan and Tableau is a plus as well as in data analytics tools and programming (Excel, Python, VBA, Google Sheets scripts, etc.).
• Experience working in high-growth tech/e-commerce/internet environments would be a plus.
• Fluency in English is essential.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Advanced degree such as an MBA from a top-tier institution; CFA or CPA certification preferred.
