Your role at Exness:

Our data-driven team, specializing in Anti-Financial Crime Research is looking to hire a Data Analyst. Their mission is to detect abuse patterns, uncover insights, and enhance security measures to protect our products and customers. They work at the intersection of data science, analytics, and cybersecurity, leveraging large datasets to identify suspicious activities and prevent financial crime.  They believe in a collaborative and supportive team environment, where every member contributes ideas, challenges assumptions, and continuously learns from one another.  You’ll be working with top professionals in the field, sharing knowledge, and developing cutting-edge solutions together.

You will:

  • Analyze large datasets to identify abuse patterns, anomalies, and suspicious activities
  • Develop data-driven models, dashboards, and reports to support decision-making
  • Work closely with abuse prevention, risk management, and engineering teams to improve security strategies
  • Research new abuse techniques and emerging threats, adapting our detection methods accordingly
  • Automate and optimize data processing pipelines to enhance operational efficiency
  • Collaborate in a dynamic and friendly environment, where knowledge-sharing and teamwork drive our success

What makes you a great fit:

  • Excellent data-analysis skills, 3 to 5 years or more of BI or analytics experience
  • Strong experience in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn), and data visualization tools (e.g., Plotly, Tableau)
  • Good understanding of mathematical statistics and probability theory: correlations, effects, and anomaly detection
  • Ability to translate complex data findings into actionable insights
  • Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently and to handle multiple, simultaneous deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and upper-intermediate written and spoken English
Will be considered as an advantage:
  • Wide experience with abuse detection, anomaly detection, and risk assessment techniques
  • Experience working with large datasets and real-time data streams
  • Previous experience in financial services, fintech, or cybersecurity
