About the Role
Join us as a Data Quality Analyst, where your meticulous attention to finance data ensures the availability, completeness, and accuracy of essential information. Your primary focus will be on establishing efficient data retrieval processes and ensuring the highest quality of source data. You will be responsible for gathering all relevant financial data, ensuring its accuracy and prompt availability. A key part of your role will be developing and maintaining a robust data quality monitoring system, and conducting business tests to identify and resolve any issues.

Your Daily Tasks will Entail:

  • Maintain the accuracy of finance data in the data warehouse by developing and maintaining a robust data quality monitoring system, driving the resolution of identified errors.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to improve data pipelines.
  • Develop source data tables for finance reporting needs and design scalable data models that facilitate accurate and insightful decision-making.
  • Drive company-wide data accessibility by advocating for self-service data usage and utilizing BI tools such as Looker to empower teams with actionable insights.
  • Keep processes organized and well-documented, contributing to process improvements and ensuring efficiency, particularly during month-end closing activities.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration by ensuring effective communication and alignment between finance and data teams, supporting seamless integration and cooperation.

Your Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Developer/Data Analyst.
  • At least 2 years of experience building and enhancing Looker applications and administration.
  • Well-versed in Python and SQL coding.
  • Skills in data modeling and business logic processes.
  • Experience with DWH design.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Able to work in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work independently, taking ownership of projects and delivering high-quality results within deadlines.
  • Able to demonstrate knowledge of dimensional modeling, and data visualization techniques.
