We are seeking a highly skilled Radar Analyst with expertise in radar phenomenology, flight test analysis, and radar cross-section (RCS) prediction. The ideal candidate will support the development, testing, and evaluation of radar systems for Department of Defense applications. This role requires a deep understanding of electromagnetic scattering, radar signal processing, and flight test data analysis to support system assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct RCS prediction and analysis using industry-standard tools and computational electromagnetic techniques.
  • Perform flight test data analysis to assess radar system performance and identify anomalies.
  • Apply knowledge of radar phenomenology to characterize system behavior in diverse operational environments.
  • Develop and validate models and simulations for radar signature analysis.
  • Support test planning and execution, including data collection strategies for simulation and flight testing.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including radar engineers, signal processing experts, and system integrators, to refine radar system performance.
  • Provide technical assessments and recommendations based on analysis findings.
  • Document and present results to stakeholders, including government and industry partners.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in radar analysis, RCS prediction, or flight test evaluation.
  • Proficiency with electromagnetic simulation tools (such as Xpatch, SENTRi, or HFSS) and radar signal processing techniques.
  • Experience with data processing and statistical analysis using MATLAB, Python, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of radar signal propagation, scattering, and detection theory.
  • Hands-on experience with flight test instrumentation and data analysis.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Active SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with machine learning applications in radar data analysis.
  • Experience working with DoD or aerospace industry partners.
