Prime Client Engineering is a client facing development team that is responsible for providing engineering solutions in client reporting for Prime Brokerage business. Current focus for the team is to develop and enhance the strategic client reporting platform (GRP) for enabling generation and delivery of reports at massive scale. 

Responsibility includes delivering on strategic platform that can procure data from various upstream systems for transactional and reference information by building and managing data pipelines using technologies like Java, Snowflake, Kafka, Hazel cast, Lake, Lakehouse, Alloy/Legend etc. Developing solutions, services and flows for client report data transformation, report orchestration stages like report generation and delivery etc. Extensively leveraging cloud, S3, On demand resource allocators and cluster schedulers, Kubernetes, etc. to develop and manage these client reporting flows. Developing frontend interfaces for the product offerings using React, Redux, TypeScript, Webpack etc.

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 1+ years of software development experience, or an advanced degree.
  • Strong experience in Java, Python, C++ or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with critical and creative thinking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable multi-tasking, managing multiple stakeholders and working as part of a global team.

 

Preferred Qualification

  • AWS / Azure or similar Cloud platforms
  • Experience building scalable and distributed microservices
  • Experience working with relational and no-SQL database systems
  • Experience in modern UI technologies including React, Redux, JavaScript, Webpack, CSS, and HTML.
  • Full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support. 
  • Building multi-threaded and multi-process service-oriented C++ or Java enterprise applications within a Unix environment. 
  • Micro-services architecture design and development including REST, Java, Spring, or other back-end technologies.
  • Interest and ability to learn frameworks, technologies, and programming languages as needed
  • Strong sense of ownership, focus on quality, responsiveness, efficiency, and innovation
  • Proficient at working with large and complex code bases.
