Supervises a robust team of Advanced Analytics and technology professionals, responsible for the development and delivery of Wireline Transformation & Supply Chain operational features, spend analytics features, models, and technology tools. This role requires thought leadership, strategic decision making, system and technology understanding, and an ability to communicate effectively cross-functionally and with senior leadership.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Leads a team responsible for delivering technology and data-centric solutions, developing new applications or systems, and maintaining existing ones. Ensures the integrity and performance of these applications or systems and the data layers for those systems.
- Software Development Coordination: Oversees the data delivery for all testing and development lifecycle processes. Collaborates with technology vendors, outside consultants, and internal resources as necessary to ensure project success.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partners closely with various business areas and IT organizations to identify and address business issues related to specific projects. Helps develop and implement business strategies and contributes to setting strategic technical directions.
- Product Leadership: Provides leadership for products by collaborating with clients to define business problems, defining business and technical requirements, preparing detailed plans and schedules, managing resource allocation, and tracking project funding. Conducts budget analysis to ensure financial alignment.
- Performance and Development: Supervises and develops team members by setting joint goals, conducting performance reviews, and managing resource allocation. Contributes to long-range planning and financial responsibilities.
- Credit & Rebate Oversight: Leads team members who manage the larger than $1B corporate credit and rebate program – ensuring timely payments from our suppliers are booked according to financial principles, partnering with Finance to receive checks, wire transfers, and credit memos, tracking program effectiveness, and driving the automation of all aspects of negotiated incentives, retail incentives, supplier reimbursements, and more.
- DNA (Data insights & Analytics): Responsible for the enablement of the DNA feature development, performance, and strategies in partnership with key peers and leaders in Wireline Transformation & Supply Chain and across the business.
- Advanced Modeling: Acts as SME, leader, or participant in numerous AI programs and projects, leading discussions, investigating data availability, and implementing key solutions (e.g. GenAI, ML).
- SOT Strategies: Leads efforts to ensure the Supply Chain DNA Snowflake environment is compliant, robust, and contains all Supply Chain and adjacent data to support use cases across the organization.
- Data Product Design: Partners with SMEs and team members to drive the design and implementation of business-ready datasets to support self-service environments in DNA, organizational needs, and partnership programs/projects with other organizations.

- Software Delivery Project/Program Management: Overseeing the successful delivery of software projects and programs.
- Product Management: Espousing a user-focused design mindset to ensure value-driven deliveries with optimized UI/UX.
- Technology Security: Implementing and managing security protocols to protect technological assets.

Our Assoc Director - Technology II - WTSC Data Insights & Analytics, earns between $155,400.00 - $233,200.00 USD Annual in Atlanta, GA., not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
