Job Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Manager of User Experience and Data Products to drive the strategy and execution of user-centered design and research for both internal and external digital products. This role will focus on enhancing internal data products for business decision-making and improving customer-facing digital experiences, including our digital web properties, marketing dashboards, analytics platforms, and e-commerce experiences. This role will bridge UX, research, and data to create seamless, intuitive experiences that empower users to make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and Develop UX Practice:
- Establish and grow a high-performing UX team while fostering a user-centered design culture across the organization.
- Actively contribute to the design process, creating wireframes, prototypes, and visual interfaces while mentoring your team.
- Define and implement UX strategies, processes, and best practices to apply to design, research, and data (including applications of artificial intelligence)
Manage Data Products:
- Oversee the design and development of data products, including marketing dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate with product managers, data analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure data products meet user needs and business goals.
- Ensure data products are intuitive, visually appealing, and provide actionable insights.
Manage Web Products and Digital Experiences:
- Oversee and actively contribute to the design of web products and digital experiences, including self-service applications.
- Ensure web products and digital experiences are intuitive, visually appealing, and provide actionable insights.
- Optimize the user experience for all customer interactions, including findability,path-to-purchase, etc.; drive engagement conversion rates.
- Lead the strategy and optimization of the design system, ensuring consistency across digital products.
- Leverage web analytics, session recordings, and other resources to identify friction points and improve the user experience with data-driven insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with product management, engineering, marketing, and other teams to integrate UX and data insights into product development.
- Advocate for user needs and ensure they are considered in all decision-making processes.
User Research and Testing:
- Develop and manage a research roadmap to prioritize user research and usability testing that informs design and experience improvements
- Conduct user research (moderated, unmoderated, surveys, etc.) and mentored the team as the subject matter expert for user research and customer feedback mechanisms.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects and priorities, ensuring timely, high-quality livery.
- Implement design ops best practices to streamline workflows, enhance collaboration, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality design work.
- Apply product management methodologies to data projects, ensuring internal user experiences are thoughtfully designed to meet their needs with the same rigor and quality as external-facing products.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
What your background should look like:
Candidate profile:
- 7+ years of experience in user experience, research, or product design, focusing on data products.
- Expertise in UX research methods, tools (Qualtrics, Dovetail, MS Clarity, etc.), information architecture, and data visualization principles.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience with design tools, systems (Figma, Sketch, etc.), and analytics platforms.
- Proven ability to translate complex data into intuitive, user-friendly experiences.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about making data more accessible and actionable through exceptional design and user research. The focus is on ensuring seamless, intuitive interactions across all digital touchpoints.

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $146,700 - $220,100 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges based on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate and internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
