Citi is a leading global bank for institutions with cross-border needs, a global provider in wealth management and a U.S. personal bank.The Fraud Risk Officer for Fraud Prevention Investigation (FPI) MIS team supports Secured and Unsecured (Non Cards) lines of business and is responsible for reporting using SAS. This role includes creation of new reports, maintenance of existing reports and ad-hoc reporting to enable effective monitoring and identification of emerging trends.
Responsibilities:
- Utilizes knowledge of SAS programming and data sources to develop codes/ reports, including testing, debugging, and implementation
- Maintains Infrastructure compliance with regards to SAS, scheduling and version control- Supports the Citi initiatives on solutions and technology that impact the fraud risk reporting
- Develops and executes effective root cause and lessons learned strategies that drive continuous improvement in the reporting
- Generates and manages regular and ad-hoc reporting to enable effective monitoring and identification of emerging trends, including understanding business requirements, drafting project requests, coordinating project deliverables, providing status updates as necessary and communicating the results effectively to the business
- identifies and defines necessary reports enhancements to deploy new report and improvements
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements / availability to build/ update reports
- Builds effective relationships within and outside the Fraud organization to help ensure successful and timely execution of key portfolio priorities
- Performs other duties and functions as assigned
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications
- 6-10 years’ experience in the banking/lending industry with broad and comprehensive knowledge and experience with SAS programming and reporting
- Experience in data analysis with strong knowledge of SAS Required. SQL , SPSS, or equivalent; SAS Enterprise Miner experience, Tableau is a plus. Should have proficient PC skills utilizing Office 365 including Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge on Citi Lines of Business, especially Mortgages and/or Unsecured Lending desirable
- Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate; Flexible and innovative in approaching and resolving issues
- Excellent organization skills and proven ability to drive multiple projects, initiatives and manage issues while simultaneously caring for BAU responsibilities.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Strong data observation skills and ability to develop conclusions independently with minimal guidance from management.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
