The ROLE

 

The Regional Practice Lead is a senior leader within our consulting services organization, responsible for charting the overall vision of our professional services offerings and driving consistent execution across our consulting community.  The Regional Practice Lead is ultimately responsible for all consulting talent within their designated practice (migration, governance) and within their geographic region (Americas, EMEA, APJ).  They monitor the adherence of each consultant within their practice to the skills defined in the global career framework and will work to empower superlative talent or to correct skill deficiencies.  The Regional Practice Lead will monitor consultant capacity within their practice and will be responsible for capacity-related decisions that ensure the right number of consultants, with the right skills, at the right levels, to support our client demand.  The Regional Practice Lead will work to define, to document, and to evolve our service delivery methodologies with a focus on creating differential value in a highly repeatable way.  Their work reflects an in-depth knowledge of our value proposition and our impact across our client base, as well as a sophisticated set of ideas on how to further differentiate our core offerings.    

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

 

  • Talent Quality Management:  Establish and maintain a community of consultants with skills that are consistently appropriate for their level in the organization.
  • Talent Supply Chain:  Monitor consultant capacity relative to forecast demand to ensure the right number of consultants, with the right skills, at the right levels, to service client demand.
  • Methodology Evolution:  In collaboration with Global Practice Leads the regional practice leads will define, document, and evolve repeatable service delivery methodologies to be adopted by our delivery consultants.
  • Methodology Oversight:  Ensure adherence in our consultant community to our established methodology guidelines for all in-scope projects in region.
  • Market Evangelism:  Evangelize to the broader market the rationale and client benefits of our established methodologies at community gatherings, trade shows, and online events.  Collaborate with the Global Practice Leads on our evolving position and messaging in the market.
  • Financial Performance: Manage the financial performance of your area and your practice line including weighted average cost and consultant utilization relative to annual financial targets.
  • Stakeholder Management: Report key performance metrics to executive leadership on a monthly or quarterly basis.

 

WHAT IT TAKES

 

  • Proven Expertise: Demonstrated experience in leading global data migration and/or data governance programs.
  • Large Team Leadership: Proven experience in leading dozens or hundreds of individuals in a given region.
  • Successful Go-Lives: Track record of multiple successful program go-lives at large global organizations.
  • Methodological Expertise: Expertise in practice delivery methodologies.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities. Excellent customer-facing communication, showcasing executive presence and top-notch presentation skills.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong technical knowledge with a desire to maintain technical excellence.
  • Proactive Leadership: Strong bias for action with a proven ability to take independent initiative and make decisions under pressure.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to manage stakeholders and build lasting relationships.
  • Travel as required.
