Job Responsibilities:
Lead strategic development of analytics efforts, encompassing new business pitches and growth opportunities; Lead the Data Analytics and Marketing Science practice across diverse client portfolios, driving innovation and delivering strategic insights; Manage a team of five data analysts, analytics managers, and data engineers, providing mentorship and career development; Understanding measurement principles, ranging from oversight of daily tasks to acting as a consultant on strategic recommendations with sweeping effects; Responsible for forming a comprehensive data strategy for new businesses, including overseeing the onboarding process, data integration, reporting, measurement, advanced analytics, and insights development; Partner with media & account leads to develop learning agenda, analytics deliverable schedules, measurement frameworks, thought leadership, and deliverables; Advising client on how to best apply econometric modeling or statistical testing of their media to their media planning & business efforts; Lead the development and deployment of scalable data pipelines and advanced machine learning models to gain deeper understanding of media campaign performance; and Support Associate analysts up to Managers on retrieving, compiling, and formatting of large volumes of data (ETL) for monthly, quarterly media performance reports.
Skills/Experience/Education:
- Must have experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks:
- Demonstrated understanding of digital media planning and buying, including: social, search, and offline channels, with a strong focus on standard media KPIs and metrics;
- Demonstrated understanding of digital tagging, tracking, QA, and maintenance across mobile, desktop, social, & tablet and their advantages/limitations;
- Experience working with multiple methodological approaches for consumer brand insights, including: social listening, syndicated tools, primary brand research – MRI, Millward Brown, Nielsen, Lucid, Dynata, Neustar, ABCS, and Disqo;
- Experience with Google Campaign Manager, Tradedesk, Double Verify, IAS, DMPs, DSPs, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Social Ads Manager;
- Experience with ETL automation tools such as Alteryx, Fivetran, Trifacta or a similar tool;
- Experience with data visualization software for dashboard building such as Datorama, Tableau, PowerBI, Looker or a similar software;
- Expertise in relational databases and a requisite programming language such as SQL, BigQuery, R, or Python;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software such as PowerPoint, Word and advanced Microsoft Excel;
- Demonstrated ability to work with Macros, advanced formulas, lookups, and pivot tables;
- Comprehensive understanding of media metrics, Measurement analytics, Quantitative business measures, and Statistics;
- Working knowledge of statistical testing & concepts and applying statistical techniques such as regression, ANOVA, MANOVA, cluster analysis, factor analysis, time series forecasting, A/B and multivariate testing, and experimental design;
- Experience in coordinating all aspects of data analytics and data engineering to formulate a comprehensive data strategy for new businesses;
- Expertise in advanced marketing science and data analytics methodologies for measuring full funnel media campaigns, including: proficiency in creative analysis, conversion lift studies, customer lifetime value analysis, behavioral and lookalike modeling and sophisticated audience segmentation analysis;
- Proficiency in applying Propensity Modeling, Regression-Based Attribution (RBA), Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), and Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA); and
- Experience with measurement frameworks, KPI discovery, conducting privacy focused media tests, and employing cookieless media measurement solutions.
- Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, and at least one year of experience as a Media Analyst, Data Analyst, Analytics Manager or a related occupation. In the alternative, the company will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent and five years in the above mentioned field and occupation.
