About the job

 

You will contribute to the acceleration of R&D mRNA vaccines and therapeutics by bringing your strategic vision, portfolio management and program leadership experience to ensure the delivery of Data Science, AI/ML and Data programs and products as part of the Data and Computational Science team in the mRNA Center of Excellence. Our team brings end to end data integration, digital tools and advanced analytics in the mRNA CoE. Extracting actionable information to feed a data driven strategy and decision-making, increasing probability of success and accelerating mRNA vaccines and therapeutics development and launch. You will act as lead portfolio manager and lead one or more programs, in addition to coordinating the overall data and data sciences portfolio.

Main responsibilities:

• Shape, manage and implement the design of the Data and Data Science program portfolio within the mRNA CoE
• Act as an in-house consulting capability, responsible for re-alignment and support of major programs
• Ensure mRNA CoE Data and Data Science programs adopt Sanofi standards for product management, agile adoption, portfolio management and governance
• Drive the definition of portfolio roadmap and governance – seeing that it is well defined, budgeted, resourced, and aligned with the evolving priorities of the organization, connecting the dots between various projects, programs and people at Sanofi
• Define KPIs, prepare and communicate portfolio and program updates and reports for different stakeholders in the mRNA CoE, Digital and in other functions
• Support program leads in valuing and communicating their deliveries, ensuring consistency of the Data & Data Science program solutions and products
• Leverage and engage resources across the organization to ensure team priorities are delivered. Managing the run business operations for the team’s portfolio, including integration with Digital, Finance, Procurement and other corporate functions

 

About you

 

Experience:

• Demonstrated strategy and transformation/implementation of large-scale programs, experience on data and analytics/management consulting experience preferred
• Working cross-functionally in large organizations to solve complex problems and treat large amounts of information

 

Soft and technical skills:

• Understanding and application of data/digital strategy and governance
• Strategic thinker with the ability to act as a translator between data and analytics and the business, ensuring business value is achieved through data and AI products
• Product and program management skillsets and ability to lead and manage agile teams
• Relationship-oriented with the ability to communicate meaningfully and influence all levels of stakeholders

 

Education:

• Master’s/PhD in business, or STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) preferred or equivalent experience

 

Languages:

• Verbal and written fluency in English. French will be a plus
