Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain high-performance applications using Core Java, JDBC, Spring Boot, and API.
• Design, analyze, and optimize SQL queries within SQL Server and Postgres.
• Leverage Generative AI tools and also implement Large Language Models (LLMs) in existing source code to enhance functionality and performance.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and utilize tools like SonarQube to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Write and automate tests using Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworks to ensure robust application performance.
• Apply full lifecycle SDLC methodologies to project development, from requirements gathering through deployment and support.
• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs, identifying root causes with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate effectively within an Agile team environment using tools like Git and Jira.
• Explore mechanisms for performance improvements and drive innovation within the development process.
• Support peers in technical aspects, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on development experience with strong programming skills in Core Java.
• Good experience of analysing and writing SQL queries in SQL Server or Postgres.
• Proven experience in utilizing Gen AI tools and implementing LLMs within enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with code quality tools such as SonarQube and test automation frameworks for BDD.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience with Git, Jira, and continuous integration is desirable.
