Who We Are?

ONxpress Transportation Partners (ONxpress) were chosen by Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario (IO) to enter the Development Phase of the On-Corridor Works project – the largest project in Metrolinx’s GO Rail Expansion program. Unprecedented in its scale and complexity, this multi-billion-dollar capital program will transform the GO regional rail network with electrification, more frequent service, shorter journey times and a more modernized system for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Region. 

What’s the Opportunity?

ONxpress Civil Contractors Joint Venture (CJV) is looking for a Reporting Co-op that will support the Project Controls team. This position is based out downtown Toronto.

What You’ll Do Here:

• Gather and maintain updated the business information provided by the cost control team.
• Write SQL scripts or ETL packages needed to develop the semantic database objects.
• Write integration scripts/packages using Data Integration tools.
• Test scripts and packages and document those
• Develop reporting dashboards to inform performance of the project.
• Develop / modify tools based on our requirements for reporting and other functions
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement.
• Other duties as assigned. 

What You’ll Bring to the Team: 

• Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, Business Intelligence, statistics, management information systems, business analysis, or related field 
• Knowledge of web base / mobile application
• Knowledge of Forms platforms (such as Jot form, Microsoft Forms, stack forms etc)
• Advance proficiency in Tableau, Power BI and BO SQL.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills  
• Excellent written and oral communication skills  
• Preferably looking for an 8-month co-op.
