BD Interventional (BDI) focus on leading innovation and life-enhancing devices in the field of surgical, endovascular, urological and critical care interventions aiming at advancing the treatment of high burden diseases and enabling surgical and interventional procedures.
Peripheral Intervention
Our Peripheral Intervention (PI) business unit offers a comprehensive range of medical products, devices and services for the treatment of peripheral arterial and venous disease, cancer detection, and end-stage renal disease and maintenance.
This Business Intelligence Developer will have primary responsibility for coordinating business analytics that support and deliver key indicators, metrics, and critical data to the functions within the Business Unit, as part of the cross functional team aligned to strategic projects assigned by the business unit Senior Leadership Team.
Essential / Key Job Responsibilities (including supervisory and/or fiscal):
Lead the development of databases, dashboards, and models to improve visibility and alignment on key deliverables
Build tools, reports, and applications to drive business processes and objectives
Execute scenario modeling to highlight options, impact, and recommended path forward
Utilize analytics to identify opportunities for process efficiencies and benefits per project requirements
Work with large sets of raw data to assess alignment of regional forecast planning with strategic portfolio decisions
Monitor and report on key metrics
Develop and utilize complex spreadsheet analysis during issue resolution, scenario planning and financial analyses.
Query databases for information required for decision-making.
Provide insight and analyses to Business Unit leadership as needed.
Prepare Executive Level presentations as required.
Drive monthly reporting according to PI project needs
Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders (i.e., OPS, SCM, FIN) in areas such as finance, sales, inventory, E&O, backorder, plant capacity, forecasting, and lifecycle management.
Provide input for SKU rationalization and other product lifecycle management initiatives, based on observed analytics
Perform advanced analyses, according to the needs of financial, operational, commercial, and supply chain activities
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations, or related degree required; MBA/MS in relevant discipline preferred.
Minimum 5 years of data analytics experience required. Finance, planning and/or manufacturing experience preferred.
Knowledge and awareness of Lean techniques and Six Sigma.
Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Excel, QlikView, Tableau, etc.)
Minimum of 3 years experience with Power BI required. Must have strong understanding of DAX & Power Query M language. Knowledge of OnePlan is beneficial.
Experience developing PowerApps and creating Power Automate flows strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database modeling
Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Databricks a plus
