Summer job at Husqvarna’s Battery Competence Center (BCC) for Battery Data Analysis.

We are currently seeking a motivated and curious summer worker in the battery data analysis field for the "Advanced Development" department for Battery Competence Center within the Husqvarna Group.

Who we are:

We at BCC are at the core of the battery engineering and technology where we are constantly thriving to provide innovative solutions to our internal customers to win together as Husqvarna Group. Battery being a multi-disciplinary subject we at BCC work with Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Hardware and Software to keep it together.
 

At Advanced Development department within BCC we are a brilliant team of 4 engineers with diverse skillsets, expertise and background working on different battery related topics. We run multiple projects to validate proof of concepts and investigate deeper into more possibilities before handing over projects to R&D for industrialization.
 

One such focus area is BMS Algorithms and we at Advanced Development department are actively developing and optimizing the BMS Algorithms to deliver the best to our Husqvarna Battery Driven Products. Not only will you get to learn about battery and work with battery related data but will also have the possibility to enjoy a FIKA and talk about your interests with a whole bunch of motivated and enthusiastic teammates.
 

What you will do:

Right now we are testing multiple batteries while generating a whole lot of data from the test equipment in the laboratory. To handle humongous amounts of raw data in a good way and converting to insightful information it is necessary to implement automation to improve efficiency and eliminate manual errors.

We are looking for a candidate who could help us with automated scripts to visualize the raw data into information as per different use cases.

For example: It could mean plotting curves or automating iterative sequences or perform mathematical operations based on conditions.

If handling TDMS/Excel files, extracting data and scripting on Python sounds fun then this maybe something for you! You will work alongside the Advanced Development team, who will gladly guide and support you throughout your tasks. Even if it's summer vacation, you'll always find someone available to assist you and enjoy a chat over FIKA.

Location: Jonsered or Huskvarna.

Qualifications:

• Education/Ongoing studies
• Hands on experience on Python or another similar programming language is mandatory
• Proficient in coding and scripting without
• Knowledge of MS Excel and Basic Electrical Engineering is meritorious
• Understanding of lithium-ion batteries is advantageous
• Proficient in English
