The College of Computing & Data Science (CCDS) invites applications for the position of Project Officer.  
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and optimize machine learning models for aesthetic image editing.

• Explore and experiment with new image processing techniques and algorithms with partners.

• To produce research reports and/or publications as required by the funding body or for dissemination to the wider academic community.

• Participate in relevant academic conferences and seminars.

• To undertake any other duties relevant to the programme of research.

Job Requirements:

• Preferably Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.

• Have a solid foundation in at least two of following areas: Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science.

• Awards in competitions or publications in AI conferences will be highly preferred.

• Research experience in image aesthetics/quality assessment, image enhancement, or related research directions.

• Knowledge of scientific or engineering software like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, etc.                                                               

• Demonstrate outstanding communication skills, clear logical thinking, and willingness to learn.

• Independent, highly analytical, proactive and a team player

• Excellent teamwork and verbal, written communication skills
