ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you passionate about data analytics and want to join a dynamic team that is driving data-driven decision making in HR? The Compensation & Data team at VTEX is looking for a talented and skilled Data Analyst to join our People Data arm. You will be responsible for supporting the People team in designing robust strategic projects and developing data analysis that helps us be more assertive and data-driven.

The People Data team at VTEX aims to operate as a laboratory focused on conducting applied research and development within People initiatives. WHAT YOU WILL DO

Assist in maintaining and improving data visualization dashboards to track key HR metrics.
Support the management and optimization of People Data processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Help automate reports and validate data to maintain data integrity.
Collaborate with different teams to gather requirements for data analysis and support People Analytics initiatives.
Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to provide insights and recommendations to HR and leadership teams.
Stay updated on HR technology trends, tools, and best practices to improve People Data processes.

WHO YOU ARE

A college student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Technology, Data Science, Economics, or a related field.
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Amazon Quicksight, Looker, or similar).
Analytical mindset with curiosity for data and problem-solving.
Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets.
Basic SQL skills (ability to interpret and write simple queries).
Knowledge or ability in Git is a plus.
Knowledge or willingness to learn basic Python scripting is a plus.
Communication and organizational skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and eager to learn new tools and techniques.
Able to communicate in Advanced English.
