About the role

Nerdio is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer with a demonstrated background in developing AI applications and a passion for working on the cutting edge of AI capabilities. The role involves working in our AI Growth Team and working closely with our Product teams. This role will contribute significantly to the growth trajectory of the company’s AI solutions.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and optimize AI agents designed to interact with their environment, collect data, and use that data to perform tasks autonomously to achieve predetermined goals.
• Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models to solve specific business problems. This includes feature engineering, model selection, hyperparameter tuning, and performance evaluation.
• Deploy machine learning models into production environments.
• Conduct experiments to validate model assumptions, fine-tune algorithms, and evaluate the performance of different approaches.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Document models, processes, and systems to ensure clarity and maintainability. Stay up to date with the latest developments in machine learning, AI, and related fields.
• Apply new techniques and tools to improve models and processes. Monitor agents and models in production to ensure they perform as expected over time.
• Retrain models as needed and address any issues that arise.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge and ability working on AI/ML use cases
• 5+ years of demonstrated ability working in C#, .Net Core, and full-stack development
• Strong knowledge of Large Language Models and applying them to products.
• Strong knowledge of Azure OpenAI.
• Strong knowledge of building AI based chat interfaces to incorporate Agentic capabilities.
• Previous work with LLM reasoning and planning.
• Extensive knowledge of Azure and desktop virtualization technologies such as AVD, Citrix, or VMWare.
• Experience working with internal teams to collect requirements, troubleshoot issues, and identify new uses cases
• Experience in leading and mentoring junior developers
• Dynamic team member who will both teach and learn from all of us on the Growth Team Problem solver who can interpret sophisticated problem statements, boil them down into simple solutions, and collaborate with customers and other teams
