Description
The Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business/Data Analyst to support the Energy and Environmental Compliance Program Offices. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing data and business processes related to Energy and Water Compliance programs, developing insights that drive decision-making and operational efficiency within the organization.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets related to Energy, Drinking Water, and Clean Water Act compliance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop actionable insights that inform policy development and operational strategies.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and dashboards that present analytical findings to senior leadership, ensuring clarity and relevance to decision-making processes.
- Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in compliance initiatives.
- Support the implementation of data-driven solutions and services to optimize program outcomes and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct research on trends and developments in energy and water policy, translating findings into practical recommendations.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring alignment on data initiatives and compliance objectives.
Requirements
All personnel must have a minimum of ten years of proven experience in providing Department of the Navy (DoN) policy development for Energy and Water Compliance programs, including but not limited to Energy, Drinking Water, and Clean Water Act programs.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
- Direct and relevant experience in data analysis and business process improvement related to energy and water compliance.
- Strong working knowledge of DoN water policy programs and related regulatory frameworks.
- Proven experience in implementing effective data solutions and processes within organizational settings.
- Expert communication skills, both orally and in writing, with the ability to articulate complex data findings to executives, staff, and clients.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks with limited supervision.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, along with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
- A minimum of three years of professional experience in drinking water and Clean Water Act compliance and policy experience.
