Business System Analyst (AFC Engineering)

Your role at Exness:

For our AFC Engineering team, we are looking for a results-oriented Business System Analyst with strong skills in business and data analysis to become a critical part of developing and optimizing our company’s systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming data into valuable business solutions, taking ownership of projects, and driving them to success. 

If you are not already located in Cyprus, relocation to Cyprus is a requirement for this role.

You will: 

• Collect, analyze, and structure business requirements from various key stakeholders.
• Develop and document business process models (As-Is and To-Be).
• Identify and describe key pain points and opportunities to improve the company’s internal and external processes.
• Participate in assessing the business impact of proposed solutions.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on key proposals and analytical materials to stakeholders.
• Develop SQL queries and work with databases to extract, transform, and analyze data.
• Analyze and interpret data using tools (e.g., Jupyter Notebook), conduct research, and identify business insights.
• Visualize data using BI tools (such as Tableau) to create reports and analytics for business teams.
• Derive actionable conclusions based on data to support product management and operational decisions.
• Work on R&D projects in a high-intensity environment, focusing on finding innovative solutions, demonstrating out-of-the-box thinking, and exploring the unknown.
• Proactively participate in project activities: from hypothesis development and requirement gathering to proposing and implementing solutions.
• Take ownership of projects, coordinate team efforts, and ensure goals are achieved.
• Demonstrate leadership skills, become an expert in your project, and apply a hands-on approach at all critical stages.
• Maintain a constant focus on achieving results and creating value for the business.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues from various teams to achieve mutual goals and ensure efficient processes.

What makes you a great fit:

• At least 3 years of experience in business and systems analysis with a focus on automating business processes.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and document business and technical requirements using techniques such as use cases, user stories, BPMN, or UML diagrams.
• Strong data analysis skills, including proficiency in SQL and experience working with data analysis tools (e.g., Jupyter Notebook, Python, or R).
• Ability to read and understand source code for collaboration with development teams and requirement validation.
• Experience working with BI tools for data visualization and interpretation (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Understanding of Scrum/Agile methodologies and experience working in iterative development.
• Advanced English skills (upper-intermediate or higher).
• Strong analytical skills, the ability to work with data sets, and turn them into meaningful business insights.
• Willingness to take ownership of projects, demonstrate proactivity, broad perspectives, and leadership capabilities.
• Experience with ETL tools and data integration processes will be considered an advantage.
• Understanding of machine learning and predictive analytics will be considered an advantage.
• Experience working in FinTech or e-commerce will be considered an advantage.
• Ability to create data-driven solutions for optimizing business processes will be considered an advantage.
