The Amazon Delivery Operations team is looking for a Business Analyst to join the growing Operations and Technology Integration team. Our delivery operations group specializes in fulfilling and delivering orders across multiple delivery networks to delight customers around the world with delivery to their doorsteps.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for managing specialized technology solutions and product support for the central delivery operations team. This role will work with operations staff, program managers, and business stakeholders to create streamlined processes and analytics used by the central operations team. You will also lead performance metric reporting and work with stakeholders to identify and understand areas for improvement. This role requires someone who can balance detailed execution with speed and possess strong collaborative skills.
Key job responsibilities
- Work with a team of Program Managers who support centralized tech strategy for Central Operations processes
- Retrieve information from an extensive datasets, analyze and make decisions based on findings
- Drive continuous improvements by proactively identifying and implementing operational enhancements for efficiency
- Support cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of projects and initiatives
- Create and maintain recurring metrics and tech solutions such as macros, scripts, and queries to optimize process workflows
- Knowledge of Python, VBA, Macros, Selenium scripts
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI or other BI packages
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- 1+ years overall development/technical support experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Proficiency in modern web development including HTML5, CSS, and Javascript frameworks (Angular JS, React, Backbone.js etc)
- Proven analytical aptitude, including the ability to mine and analyze large, complex data sets
- Experience communicating across all levels of management, peers, and client.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues.

Basic Qualifications
- Knowledge of Python, VBA, Macros, Selenium scripts

- Experience with SQL or ETL- Proficiency in modern web development including HTML5, CSS, and Javascript frameworks (Angular JS, React, Backbone.js etc)

- Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues.
