We are Smartpricing, and we support small and medium-sized accommodation providers with solutions to help them fight back against the huge hotel chains. We started in 2020 by providing these companies with a dynamic pricing manager which can update room prices 100 times per day, and increase revenue by 30%. Last year, we were named one of Italy’s top start-ups, and are the fastest growing B2B SaaS company in the accommodation space in both revenue and number of clients. Today we are working with over 3000 companies in over 17 countries, and steadily growing. Yet, this is only the start of our journey. 

In 2025, we are looking to launch a suite of new products and focus on internationalizing our reach further. This means we have a very exciting time ahead of us, and require to work with some of the best people the tech industry has. 

What Will You Do?

Our technology team is developing a range of innovative solutions to help service providers optimize the management of their businesses. We are making significant investments in R&D with the goal of doubling the number of products offered by the end of the year, and to achieve this, we are expanding our engineering team.

As an AI Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining our AI-driven assistants, ensuring its seamless integration into one of our products. You will play a key role in designing, deploying, and optimizing AI agents, focusing on improving automation, response accuracy, and overall system efficiency.

Working closely with engineers and product teams, you will help shape the assistant’s capabilities, ensuring it delivers intelligent, context-aware interactions while continuously evolving to meet user needs.

You will be responsible for: 

• Develop, maintain, and enhance a virtual assistant for our product using AI models.

• Implement AI frameworks and libraries to build and deploy intelligent assistants.

• Integrate AI models into Smartpricing's architecture, ensuring smooth API interactions with multiple communication platforms.

• Manage vector databases and optimize data retrieval for AI-driven responses.

• Deploy AI models in production, ensuring stability, scalability, and performance.

• Collaborate with backend engineers to enhance microservices and data pipelines for AI functionalities. 

What Are We Looking For?

• 2+ years of experience in AI.

• Strong Python programming skills.

• Hands-on experience with AI models, chatbot development, and agent-based AI architectures.

• Familiarity with vector databases (preferably Pinecone) and microservices integration.

• Experience in AI model deployment—not just research but real-world implementation.

• Resilient & Adaptable, to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Strong Communicator to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Problem Solver, independent & proactive, to propose and execute creative ideas autonomously.
