As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be pivotal in advancing safety, well-being, and inclusion initiatives. Your contributions will directly impact student and institutional success by leveraging cutting-edge resources and driving meaningful change in collaboration with our network of partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of scalable data pipelines to efficiently collect, process, and deliver high-quality data to support key business insights.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement advanced data models that ensure consistent and reliable data across the organization.

• Utilize your programming expertise to contribute to cutting-edge machine learning projects, driving impactful insights and automation.

• Build powerful Business Intelligence dashboards and reports to deliver actionable insights that empower stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.

• Take existing data platforms and expertly map them to standardized canonical models, ensuring smooth integration and effective data flow into our Data Warehouse.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• In-depth experience with Spark, leveraging its power to build efficient, large-scale data processing solutions.

• Proven hands-on experience with AWS Glue and PySpark for data development, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

• Extensive experience in Python development, particularly for data processing, automation, and integration tasks.

• Knowledge of Lambda-based architectures for efficient and cost-effective data processing workflows.

• Hands-on experience with Amazon S3, managing data storage and ensuring accessibility and scalability for large datasets.

• Strong command of SQL, with practical experience in PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar databases, ensuring optimal data querying and management.
