About the role

Hello, my name is Tadas Makčinskas, and I am the Head of Architecture at Kilo Health. I am excited about the ongoing journey of change, and as we continue evolving our data landscape at Kilo Health, we are looking for an experienced Data Solutions Architect. If you are passionate about scalable data architectures, AI-driven data strategies, and enabling business insights, you might be the one we are looking for!

As a Data Architect in my architecture team, your main objective is to design and implement a scalable, cost-efficient data architecture, supporting data science, analytics, and AI-driven operations. You will work across multiple functional areas, collaborating with stakeholders, data engineers, and data scientists to ensure that data is accessible, reliable, and well-structured for business insight teams and AI models.

Get ready to

• Design and maintain efficient data storage systems such as data warehouses and data lakes.
• Develop data integration and ETLs for seamless data ingestion, transformation, and movement.
• Maintain and evolve Kilo Health’s data products to provide a unified business data layer.
• Establish a data catalog and lineage tracking to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Define and enforce data governance, quality, security, and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
• Align data architecture with business strategy, enabling data-driven decision-making across products, marketing, finance, and operations.
• Ensure high-performance, scalable data processing to meet growing business demands.
• Support the full AI/ML data lifecycle, including feature engineering, data versioning, and MLOps.
• Partner with data engineers to optimize pipeline design while maintaining clear architectural ownership.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to turn data into actionable insights.

We expect you to

• Have proven expertise in data architecture, engineering, or related fields.
  
• Have strong experience with Google cloud-based data technologies such as GCP, BigQuery, dbt or similar.
  
• Have knowledge of data modeling, data pipelines, and scalable storage solutions.
  
• Have experience with data integration frameworks and processing large-scale data.
  
• Have strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
  
• Have ability to design and optimize AI/ML data pipelines and support feature engineering.
  
• Have ability to manage complex environments and proactively respond to challenges.
  

Salary

Gross salary range is 5200 - 7800 EUR/month.

Location

This position is based in Vilnius, Lithuania.

For Vilnius: 4 days onsite, 1 flexible day remote.
