There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation. As a Principal Growth Product Manager on Copilot, you will balance creativity, curiosity, technical expertise, to drive challenging projects to successful completion. You will play a key role on our mission to build an AI companion for everyone by helping people discover and engage with Copilot and build a trusted relationship. You will collaboratively work with engineers, designers, data scientists, and AI researchers to take ambiguous projects and mold them into amazing experiences to delight our customers. - Drive building world-class AI experiences that will delight consumers across Copilot.
- Own a product area and be responsible for understanding user needs and behaviors, defining product requirements, managing end-to-end product development, launches and iterations.
- Find a path to get things done despite roadblocks to get your work into the hands of users quickly and iteratively.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, design-driven, product development cycle.
- Translate business goals into strategy, user experience and technical requirements in close collaboration with UX designers and AI model training teams.
- Define goals and performance indicators, set up and oversee experiments, measure success with data and research. You will use data (qualitative and quantitative) to identify bottlenecks in the growth funnel and execute rapid experiments.
- Collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to build exceptional consumer-grade applications.

- Bachelor's Degree AND 8 years experience in product management
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience leading product teams building consumer products.
- Proven track record of executing high-impact growth experiments.
- Bachelor's Degree AND 10 years of experience in product management
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience leading product teams building consumer products in personal productivity, search, education or messaging.
- Experience building consumer products leveraging Machine Learning or Large Language Models.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing requirements and deadlines.
- Proven ability to collaborate and contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment, fostering knowledge sharing and growth within the team.
- Experience with data analytics and experimentation tools. Working knowledge of SQL and coding skills (Python, Javascript).
